SO WHAT? - Abu Dhabi isn’t just hosting an AI conference, it’s using the stage to show its own government running on AI. DGE says it’s on track to make Abu Dhabi the world’s first fully AI-native government by 2027, with more than 100 AI use cases already live across 40-plus integrated government entities. That domestic showcase provides the backdrop for the world’s largest concentration of AI unicorns and infrastructure investors in one place.

The sold-out event convenes more than 400 AI infrastructure builders, model makers, unicorns and startups, alongside 200-plus investors managing $91 billion in assets, and government, academic and business leaders from 60 countries.
Mistral Co-founder and CEO Arthur Mensch and Boston Dynamics founder Marc Raibert headline headline the Summit’s 180-plus speakers, appearing together in the UAE for the first time to discuss sovereign AI and industrial intelligence.
More than 50 UAE government entities are participating, led by DGE, which is steering Abu Dhabi’s transformation into what it describes as the world’s first AI-native government by 2027, backed by a $3.54 billion investment programme.
DGE has already integrated more than 40 government entities into a single AI-driven ecosystem, with over 100 AI use cases live across the emirate’s public services, according to Director General Wesam Lootah.
Mistral AI, valued at more than €21 billion ($24.42 billion) following a record €3 billion Series D round, Europe’s largest ever single funding round, will make its first appearance at the event.
Abu Dhabi’s Technology Innovation Institute (TII) will present 23 demonstrations from nine research centres, including GeoAI, a machine-learning model of northern UAE’s subsurface geology built to support mineral exploration.
International exhibitors including AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, Intel, Dell, HPE and Alibaba Cloud will attend, together representing more than $10 trillion in collective market capitalisation.
Meanwhile, voice AI company ElevenLabs will showcase ElevenAgents and ElevenCreative, its platforms for conversational AI and multimodal content generation, at the event.
ZOOM OUT - The AI-native government DGE plans to showcase at the summit was set in motion in January 2025, when the Abu Dhabi Executive Council approved an AED13 billion ($3.54b) Government Digital Strategy for 2025-2027. The plan aims to make Abu Dhabi the first government globally to fully integrate AI into its digital services by 2027, targeting 100 percent adoption of sovereign cloud computing and full digitisation of government processes, alongside more than 200 new AI solutions across public services. It's projected to add AED24 billion ($6.53b) to Abu Dhabi's GDP and create over 5,000 jobs, building on a decade of digital government work including the TAMM platform. Nearly two years in, that strategy is what Abu Dhabi will share at Ai Everything next month.
