AU approves Continental AI Strategy
#Africa #AIstrategy - African ICT and Communications Ministers have unanimously endorsed a landmark Continental Artificial Intelligence Strategy, and an African Digital Compact, to accelerate Africa’s digital transformation. According to the African Union, the strategy will provide guidance to African countries to harness AI to meet Africa’s development aspirations and the well-being of its people, while promoting ethical use, minimizing potential risks, and leveraging opportunities. UAE president presents national AI progress to G7
