AI Academy opens second CAIO programme cohort
First cohort of new CAIO programme certified 35 senior executives globally
#UAE #training - Abu Dhabi-based executive education hub the AI Academy has opened applications for the second cohort of its Executive Programme for Chief AI Officer. The new cohort follows the successful certification of 35 senior executives from government, defence, energy, healthcare, technology and national infrastructure sectors last year. Delivered in partnership with technology consulting firm Polynome Group and Abu Dhabi business school ADSM (Abu Dhabi School of Management), the programme established a new benchmark for executive AI education, drawing delegates from across the UAE, GCC and globally. The intensive curriculum combines masterclasses, workshops and applied exercises focusing on responsible AI governance, regulatory alignment, fiscal impact and large-scale AI deployment.
SO WHAT? - The first cohort delivered six high-impact capstone projects addressing pressing challenges including a GCC-wide AI regulatory intelligence platform, a unified national AI layer for government services, AI-driven healthcare transformation models and strategies addressing rising AI-related energy demand. The tangible outcomes demonstrated how structured executive AI leadership training can translate into real-world impact at organisational and national level.
Here are some key points about the programme:

Participants will gain access to distinguished faculty, senior-level peer learning and direct engagement with leaders actively shaping AI in practice, with emphasis on practical execution, strategic decision-making and measurable impact rather than purely academic learning.
