Announced yesterday by China's national news agency Xinhua, China's national academy for natural sciences - the Chinese Academy of Sciences - signed an MoU with the United Arab Emirates University, It's the first of its kind between CAS and a research institute in the UAE, although CAS signed R&D agreements with organisations in Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the past.
