DIFC launches AI accelerator for Dubai corporates
Applications now open for new sector agnostic AI transformation programme
#UAE #innovation - Dubai AI and Web3 Campus at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has launched a new Artificial Intelligence Transformation Programme to empower Dubai-based corporations to adopt AI and embrace innovation. The highly customisable sector agnostic corporate accelerator will both empower companies to introduce technology innovations and facilitate partnerships with tech firms and startups to fast-track proof-of-concepts (POCs).
SO WHAT? - Earlier this year, DIFC announced ambitious plans to expand its Dubai AI and Web3 Campus attracting more than 500 high-tech companies and $300 million in funds by 2028. The new corporate accelerator programme will help startups by creating opportunities for them to run POCs with and sell solutions to Dubai business groups.
Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is the leading financial hub for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA).
The Dubai International Financial Centre announced the new plans for its Dubai AI and Web3 Campus in June, aiming to create the biggest cluster of AI and emerging tech companies in the Middle East and North Africa region.
In August, DIFC announce that licences for new businesses registering in the AI and Web 3.0 Campus would be eligible for a 90 percent subsidy on company registration.
The Artificial Intelligence Transformation Programme announced this week is open for applications from Dubai-based corporates.
The new sector agnostic corporate accelerator is highly customisable, providing C-level coaching, use of a corporate innovation lab, the latest information technology systems, access to tech industry experts and help with concept creation and prototype testing.
IMO - As the creator of the first fintech startup ecosystem in the Middle East, DIFC FinTech Hive, DIFC certainly has the experience, insight and partnerships to realise its ambitions for the Dubai AI and Web3 Campus. As participants in the new corporate accelerator programme, companies will have access to some of the most promising new technology startups in the world, within a framework created by DIFC. Sounds like a great combination!
