Here’s your roundup of this week’s AI and emerging tech stories! Again relatively short this week due to the summer's slightly slower news cycle.
However, it's hard to miss all the buzz around Dubai's metaverse plans this week as the Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan after announced the emirate's metaverse strategy on Monday.
Dubai seems committed to building momentum for its play to attract metaverse and Web3 business - and it seem to be working! It is being noticed globally among industry leaders and the speed of policy-making has so far been impressive. See my Linkedin post for the timeline. Also check out my Linkedin newsletter later in the day for more comment on this.
Stay safe and have a great day!
