TII's Falcon AI models to join Amazon Bedrock Marketplace
New AWS collaboration brings scalable access to TII and AI71 AI products
#UAE #LLMS - Technology Innovation Institute (TII), and enterprise AI company AI71, both part of Abu Dhabi's Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), are expanding global access the Falcon family of AI models and associated enterprise AI products via new collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). As part of the agreement, TII’s Falcon series of open-source large language models (LLMs) are now available via Amazon Bedrock Marketplace, making it easier than ever for enterprises and developers worldwide to build AI applications with Falcon.
SO WHAT? - Amazon Bedrock Marketplace lets developers discover, test, and use over 100 popular, emerging and specialixed foundation models on fully managed endpoints, via a single-API. Although multiple Falcon LLMs were already available to developers through Amazon SageMaker, joining Amazon Bedrock Marketplace will provide access to an even wider global audience. With an extended family of models that includes four Falcon 3 small language models, plus six newly released Falcon-H1 hybrid models, Falcon now has a lot to offer global developers.
Technology Innovation Institute (TII) and enterprise AI company AI71 - both part of Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) - have signed a collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to expand access to made-in-the UAE AI models and solutions via Amazon Bedrock Marketplace.
A selection of TII’s Falcon family of AI models will now be made available via Amazon Bedrock Marketplace, a new platform that allows easy discovery, testing and deployment of over 100 foundation models via secure, unified APIs.
TII’s Falcon models, already available through Amazon SageMaker, are globally recognised for their performance and efficiency, regularly ranking among the top open-source LLMs.
Through Bedrock, users can integrate Falcon models into applications on a pay-as-you-go basis—without needing extensive compute infrastructure—offering greater scalability and lower entry barriers.
Meanwhile, AI71’s enterprise AI products, which use Falcon as a foundation for agentic workflows and sector-specific automation, are already live in the AWS Marketplace and are now scaling globally.
The collaboration also brings TII’s privacy-first tools, such as PetalGuard, into broader use via AWS, and supports joint R&D into secure AI through cryptographic techniques like homomorphic encryption and multi-party computation.
AWS will support AI71’s AI talent development efforts by powering executive certifications and training programmes aligned to global enterprise needs.
ZOOM OUT - Launched in late 2024, the Amazon Bedrock Marketplace allows developers to easily access and integrate over 100 specialised foundation models through unified APIs and Bedrock-native tools like Agents, Knowledge Bases, and Guardrails. The marketplace currently offers access to foundation models from AI21 Labs, Amazon, Anthropic, Cohere, DeepSeek, Luma AI, Meta and Mistral AI. By joining AWS’s Bedrock Marketplace, TII and AI71 are turning research-driven AI into practical tools for global enterprises. AWS’s global infrastructure and tools —including Bedrock’s Agents, Guardrails, and Knowledge Bases — will encourage wider usage and so help the two Abu Dhabi organisations deliver accessible, privacy-focused, enterprise-ready AI from the UAE to the world.
