#SaudiArabia #Arabic - Saudi Arabia’s national AI company HUMAIN has announced the first milestone in a long-term strategic collaboration with Microsoft, aimed at bringing HUMAIN’s ALLaM Arabic language models into Microsoft Foundry and the M365 Copilot ecosystems. The partnership also pairs HUMAIN’s AI experts with Microsoft’s Forward Deployed Engineers to provide hands-on support helping organisations move AI projects from experimentation to production. The two companies said this is the first of several planned steps, with more details expected to be announced at LEAP 2026.
SO WHAT? - Microsoft’s platforms reach millions of enterprise users worldwide, but its AI tools have historically been built and tuned around English first. Making ALLAM available through Microsoft Foundry and Copilot gives Arabic-speaking enterprises and government bodies a route to build AI agents that actually understand the regional language and business context. Following hot on the heels of HUMAIN’s deal with Mistral, this is the second major model partnership HUMAIN has announced this week.

HUMAIN and Microsoft plan to bring ALLaM, HUMAIN’s Arabic language model, to Microsoft Foundry, giving developers and enterprises access to build, customise and deploy Arabic-language AI applications and agents within Microsoft’s ecosystem.
Meanwhile, leveraging Microsoft M365 Copilot’s platform, organisations will be able to create specialised agents that use ALLaM’s Arabic-language capabilities within everyday productivity and business workflows.
HUMAIN’s AI experts will work alongside Microsoft’s Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to help organisations identify high-value AI use cases, integrate AI into existing workflows, and support the transition from experimentation to production-scale deployment.
According to HUMAIN, ALLaM’s integration marks just the first step in a broader collaboration, with a wider set of enterprise AI capabilities to be unveiled at LEAP.
The two companies said they intend to deepen collaboration over time across additional areas including productivity, devices, models, infrastructure and joint go-to-market initiatives across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East and Africa region.
ZOOM OUT - The formation of HUMAIN as Saudi Arabia’s national AI company was announced by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in May 2025. The PIF-owned company was launched to operate across the entire AI value chain, from next-generation data centres and infrastructure through to a multimodal Arabic large language model. The mandate was always full-stack rather than single-layer, positioning HUMAIN to tie together Saudi Arabia's years of digital transformation and compute investment into one operating company. HUMAIN believes that is that AI's next phase won't be decided by model quality alone, but by who can connect every layer of the stack, infrastructure, compute, data, models and applications, and deploy it at scale. The Microsoft deal is the latest evidence of that strategy being put in practice.
