#SaudiArabia #LEAP5 - Saudi Arabia’s PIF-owned AI company HUMAIN has launched its AI cloud in Saudi Arabia, powered by NVIDIA HGX B300 Blackwell Ultra systems, with the platform already supporting government and enterprise AI workloads across the Kingdom. The Saudi Ministry of Commerce is among the first customers, using HUMAIN’s infrastructure to power AI-enabled commercial services including regulatory inspections, commercial fraud detection and business registration. HUMAIN said current cluster utilisation already exceeds 90 percent.
SO WHAT? - The reported 90 percent utilisation of the new Blackwell AI cloud cluster capacity confirms the HUMAIN’s claim that demand for data centre capacity currently outstrips availability. The company has an aggressive expansion plan to build up to 1.9 gigawatts of AI infrastructure capacity by 2030 and as much s 6.6GW by 2034. Current capacity is a far cry from such lofty capacity targets, but it does confirm that every HUMAIN data centre cluster so far has been launched with large-scale customer usage agreements in place.

The AI cloud builds on HUMAIN and NVIDIA’s previously announced plans to build AI factories in Saudi Arabia with a projected capacity of up to 500 megawatts, powered by several hundred thousand NVIDIA GPUs over five years.
The platform is designed to support the full AI lifecycle, from model development and customisation through to inference and production deployment, running on HUMAIN’s Sovereign Cloud Stack and hosting a range of leading AI models for government and enterprise customers.
The launch is intended to extend locally hosted, accelerated computing access across sectors including government services, financial services, energy, healthcare, telecommunications and manufacturing.
ZOOM OUT - The LEAP5 announcement is a small operational slice of a far larger commitment. HUMAIN and NVIDIA first unveiled their partnership when HUMAIN launched in May 2025, targeting several hundred thousand GPUs and 500 megawatts of capacity in Saudi Arabia over five years. The plan was expanded in November 2025, when the two companies announced a deployment of up to 600,000 NVIDIA GPUs, including Blackwell GB300 platforms, over three years, split for the first time between Saudi Arabia and the United States. Set against that scale, the Blackwell Ultra cluster now running Ministry of Commerce workloads represents a small operational fraction of what HUMAIN has committed to build, but it does show that HUMAIN continues to onboard big data centre customers.
