#Qatar #investment - Invest Qatar has partnered with San Francisco-based applied AI company Brain Co to accelerate AI adoption across Qatar’s public and private sectors. The framework will identify and support AI pilot programmes aligned with Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy and National AI Strategy, with a focus on talent development and upskilling. Invest Qatar will also help Brain Co open a flagship office in Qatar and expand into the wider region. The company, which raised a $30 million Series A in 2025, has already delivered an AI-powered building permit system for Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality.
SO WHAT? - One of Brain Co's first big government wins came a month after it left stealth. The AI-powered building permit system it delivered with Qatar's Ministry of Municipality cut approval times from 30 days to 120 minutes and is designed to process up to 70 percent of engineering plans electronically in its first phase. The project now seems to be opening doors for additional government work for Brain CO in Qatar. Backed by Invest Qatar, the company is focusing on the key verticals of healthcare, energy and financial services.
