MDS SI acquires majority stake in UAE AI startup AIdeology
Deal expands MDS SI’s AI capabilities across the Middle East
#UAE #M&A - Mideast Data Systems, System Integration Group (MDS SI), a subsidiary of international technology distribution and services group Midis, has acquired a majority stake in UAE-based AI start-up AIdeology. One of only 10 NVIDIA Elite Partners in the Middle East, AIdeology specialises in large-scale artificial intelligence infrastructure solutions, 3D AI, Generative AI, and physical AI services. The acquisition is expected to expand MDS SI’s capability in AI technologies and accelerate AIdeology’s go-to-market effort.
SO WHAT? - AI infrastructure and enterprise solution specialist AIdeology has quickly grown a niche business in line with the past three years accelerating demand for enterprise AI infrastructure and platforms. Following the acquisition, the business will get to leverage MDS SI’s 2,600 professionals in 11 countries to accelerate growth and tap into the integrators 5,000 customers. The deal is also good news for NVIDIA, bringing AIdeology’s expertise as a NVIDIA Elite Partner to more organisations across the Middle East and Turkey.

AIdeology is one of only 10 NVIDIA Elite Partners in the Middle East and works with Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Microsoft, and other key tech players.
