#SaudiArabia #datacentres - Riyadh-based IT solutions provider Al Moammar Information Systems Co (MIS) has received its first work order from Public Investment Fund-owned AI company HUMAIN, worth $500 million (SAR 1.88 billion)*. According to an official statement, MIS received the order on 1 October, covering 50 megawatts of AI data centre capacity and equals 148 percent of MIS’s 2025 revenue of SAR 1.27 billion. It sits under a September agreement worth nearly SAR 8.76 billion ($2.3b) that raises planned capacity to 250 megawatts.
SO WHAT? - This is a big commitment from HUMAIN on a single relationship, and on MIS’s ability to deliver 250 megawatts overall, five times the capacity in this first order. It also shows HUMAIN giving a domestic firms a central role in its massive infrastructure build-out.
KEY POINTS:
Al Moammar Information Systems Co (MIS) received its first HUMAIN work order on 1 October and disclosed it to shareholders on 4 October. *The order is valued at 148% of MIS’s 2025 revenue, equivalent to SAR 1.88 billion ($500m).
The order covers the 50 megawatts of capacity announced earlier, and MIS says its financial impact began in the second quarter of 2026. The company expects more work orders as the project expands and will announce them.
In September, MIS and HUMAIN signed an agreement to expand the design and construction of AI data centres from 50 to 250 megawatts. Work will be carried out through work orders issued under the agreement’s terms.
Total contract value after the expansion exceeds 689% of MIS’s 2025 revenue, at nearly SAR 8.76 billion or about $2.3 billion. MIS reported 2025 revenue of SAR 1.27 billion.
The September agreement supersedes a contract announced on Tadawul on 5 March 2026, without changing that contract’s value, workflow or financial impact. The earlier deal was worth about $501 million and was signed on 15 February.
MIS will handle engineering, procurement and construction under the work orders HUMAIN issues. It has pledged to announce the value, timelines and financial impact of each order promptly after receiving it.
MIS was founded in 1979 and has built a portfolio across security, networks, data management, systems integration and geographic information systems for Saudi public and private sector clients.
HUMAIN announced a joint venture with stc in February 2026 to build and run AI data centres. HUMAIN holds 51% and stc’s subsidiary center3 holds 49%, targeting 250 megawatts initially and up to one gigawatt.
