#SaudiArabia #AgenticAI - New York-based AI agent company Napster has partnered with HUMAIN to bring Arabic-native AI agents to public and private organisations across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. The new partnership combines HUMAIN’s ALLaM large language model, speech recognition and text-to-speech with Napster’s video, voice and multimodal agent platform. The aim is to deploy Arabic-fluent digital employees for existing Napster clients and widen AI adoption in the region.
SO WHAT? - Most AI agents still treat Arabic language as an add-on to an English-first product. The Napster-HUMAIN partnership aims to build the agent around an Arabic model from the start. This could also expand HUMAIN’s route to market for the ALLaM Arabic language model through another deployment layer, via a company with existing government and enterprise clients. The deal is part of a broader effort by HUMAIN to increase the value and availability of its Arabic AI portfolio.
KEY POINTS:
Napster has announced a strategic partnership with HUMAIN, aiming to improve access to and adoption of advanced AI models and embodied AI across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
The integration combines HUMAIN’s ALLaM large language model and speech recognition with SawtArabi’s text-to-speech. These sit alongside Napster’s video presence, Large Persona Model technology and multimodal agent infrastructure.
As a result of the integration, AI agents that understand and speak Arabic natively, can retain a conversation history across sessions, and interact with customers and colleagues by voice, video and text. The underlying model was shaped by more than 600 Arabic language and cultural experts.
Napster plans to offer these capabilities to its existing private and public sector clients in Saudi Arabia and across the region. That creates immediate openings to deploy Arabic-fluent digital employees without building from scratch.
The case rests on demographics. According to the General Authority for Statistics 2024 Saudi Family Statistics Report, 71% of Saudi Arabia’s population is under 35, and the median age is 23.5.
HUMAIN combines sovereign AI capabilities with Napster’s deployment infrastructure to support organisations adopting next-generation AI services. The national AI champion’s portfolio includes data centres, cloud infrastructure, Arabic large language models and sector-specific AI solutions.
Napster builds embodied, multimodal AI agents with video presence, voice and persistent memory that run on top of any model.
The partnership is part of Napster’s push to expand across the Middle East. Further initiatives and deployments are planned throughout 2026.
ZOOM OUT - HUMAIN took over the ALLaM Arabic model family from the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) when it was formed in 2025, and has been widening its Arabic portfolio since. In September 2026, HUMAIN unveiled humain-m3, a 428-billion parameter model built with Chinese developer MiniMax and pre-trained on more than one trillion tokens of native Arabic. It topped seven public Arabic benchmarks among tested frontier models. In August, HUMAIN agreed to bring ALLaM to Microsoft Foundry and M365 Copilot, and signed a deal worth hundreds of millions of euros with France's Mistral. September also brought investments in Arabic.AI and Tarjama& for Arabic language translation and document intelligence.
