New accelerator launches to scale Saudi AI startups globally
Blossom Accelerator unveils DominAite as Saudi AI ambitions
#SaudiArabia #startups – Riyadh-based startup platform Blossom Accelerator has launched DominAite, a national AI scale accelerator and investment platform designed to grow high-potential AI-native startups in and from Saudi Arabia. The programme is supported by the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), one of Saudi Arabia’s flagship national programmes for accelerating digital economy growth, and aligns with the Saudi Council of Ministers’ declaration of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence. DominAite combines venture capital through Blossom Capital, advanced technical enablement, Saudi market-entry support and access to enterprise, government and investor networks within a single curated platform targeting early-stage startups with data- and compute-intensive AI solutions.
SO WHAT? – The DominAite AI accelerator programme is one of a growing number of AI-focused startup programmes launched over the past five years. The Kingdom’s journey to create an active AI startup ecosystem has not been an easy one, but over the past two years there has been an impressive increase in the number and quality of Saudi AI startups receiving funding. In light of this, Blossom Accelerator’s new programme is well timed and is likely to attract the attention of local and global AI startups.
Here are some key points regarding the new programme:
Blossom Accelerator, a Riyadh-based innovation and market-entry platform operating since 2017, has launched DominAite as a three-month, nationally backed AI accelerator combining venture investment, technical enablement and market-entry support for early-stage AI-native startups.
The deadline for applications is April 18th, 2026.
The programme is supported by the National Technology Development Program (NTDP) through its Empowering Accelerators product. NTDP is one of Saudi Arabia’s flagship national programmes, focused on accelerating the Kingdom’s digital economy across deep technologies including AI, robotics, semiconductors, health technologies and sustainability.
DominAite is explicitly aligned with the Saudi Council of Ministers’ declaration of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence, positioning it as a direct delivery mechanism for one of the Kingdom’s recent high-profile national technology commitments.
Selected startups will receive venture capital investment through Blossom Capital, alongside advanced AI-specific technical resources, company setup assistance, Saudi market-entry support, enterprise and government pilot access, and investor connectivity across the MENA ecosystem.
The programme culminates in a high-profile Demo Day with curated stakeholders drawn from the investment, corporate and public sectors. Participating startups stand to get exposure to the decision-makers most relevant to scaling in the Saudi market.
DominAite targets early-stage AI-native startups specifically, with a focus on companies developing data- and compute-intensive solutions with strong relevance across Saudi Arabia’s strategic economic sectors.
The programme is designed for both Saudi-based founders and international AI companies seeking structured market entry into the Kingdom. The initiative supports Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy of attracting global AI talent and capital, while building domestic capability in parallel.
