There’s big EV news from Saudi Arabia as a $5.6 billion investment deal is signed with Shanghai-based electric vehicle manufacturer Human Horizon. Together with previous announcements, this will take the Kingdom’s planned investments in the sector to well over $10 billion as it aims to become a global EV exporter.
Also lots of drone news this week, from A Saudi project to use 40 drones to monitor the 4,000 square kilometre Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Royal Reserve, to Kuwait’s $367 million order for military drones from Baykar.
Meanwhile, Subway announces its first digital ad made using generative AI.
