#Qatar #corporate - New AI venture Syira AI has opened its new office in Doha, officially beginning operations in Qatar. The company offers what it calls ‘Intelligence-as-a-Service’, combining consulting, custom development, automation and infrastructure platforms under one roof. The company is targeting education, healthcare, construction, retail, government and finance as key sectors. The office was officially inaugurated by Zainul Abideen, deputy chairman and managing director of Safari Group.
SO WHAT? - Syira AI's launch is a small market entry in Qatar’s fast-growing AI ecosystem. Qatar has spent the past three years investing in AI infrastructure at home and abroad, from a national $2.5 billion digital-innovation package announced in 2024, the foundation of a national AI company QAI in 2025, to a $20 billion AI infrastructure joint venture between the new AI venture and Brookfield. What's been comparatively thin is the domestic startup layer actually building products on top of that foundation. In this context, there remains significant potential for homegrown, full-stack AI ventures with region-specific products.
KEY POINTS:
Qatar’s Safari Group has established a new AI venture Syira AI, officially opening its office in Doha. The office was officially inaugurated by Safari Group deputy chairman and managing director Zainul Abideen.
Syira AI positions itself as a full-stack AI company combining consulting, custom development, automation and Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms, arguing that clients typically end up paying for the gaps between separate consultancies, engineering shops and software vendors.
The company’s six production platforms span learning, careers, accessibility and procurement, offered as live, subscribable intelligence services rather than one-off software deployments.
AIZA - a bilingual Arabic and English adaptive learning engine.
USLOT.ai - a career platform that matches skills to market demand.
EduScale - provides institution-wide learning diagnostics.
Siddique AI - accessibility platform offering text, sign and speech assistance.
Ayrah - Quranic understanding with psychological wellbeing support.
QuotoMatch - a procurement automation platform.
The launch event was attended by Syira AI founder and director Jazeel and director Jamsheer Mohammed, alongside industry representatives and guests from the Doha business community.
