#UAE #funding - Investment firm Terra Invest has joined a strategic funding round in Abu Dhabi-headquartered AIREV, the company behind the autonomous AI platform OnDemand. The money will fund AIREV’s expansion and sovereign AI solutions. AIREV and Terra Invest will also launch joint projects with Terra’s portfolio companies Kairos Wealth, a wealth management platform, and Shookra, a longevity and regenerative medicine specialist. The deal is AIREV’s third significant foreign investment. No financial terms were disclosed.
SO WHAT? - AIREV says its agentic AI platform OnDemand has more than four million users and processed 6.8 trillion tokens in the second quarter of 2026. The new investment deal offers the potential for OnDemand’s sovereign platform to support AI application development for vertical domains such as investment and healthcare. Terra-Invest’s portfolio company Shookra already has a smart healthcare device running on OnDemand’s platform and AIREV has plans to build AI apps with another portfolio venture Kairos Wealth.
KEY POINTS:
Terra-Invest, an investment firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, London, Miami and Singapore, has taken part in a strategic funding round for AIREV. The investment supports AIREV’s expansion and the development of sovereign AI solutions in the UAE. No details have been shared about the funding round.
AIREV is UAE-based agentic AI company, founded in September 2023 and structured through an Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) holding company. Its main product is OnDemand, a no-code and low-code sovereign agentic AI operating system.
OnDemand serves more than four million users through over 300 specialised agents in more than 50 languages. It processed 6.8 trillion tokens in the second quarter of 2026, roughly a six-fold rise on the year before.
The platform can be deployed on-device, on-premise, in sovereign data centres or in the cloud. AIREV says this suits customers with strict rules on data protection and digital sovereignty.
AIREV will build its agentic AI into Kairos Wealth, an operating system for family offices and wealth managers. The work covers four areas: intelligent trading, portfolio management, financial advisory, and compliance and regulatory technology.
In healthcare, AIREV already works with Shookra. Shookra One, a smart-ring programme powered by OnDemand, draws on biometric data, advanced diagnostics and physician-designed protocols.
AIREV says the deal is its third significant foreign direct investment. It reports a 20-fold rise in valuation, paying Fortune 500 customers, and distribution of UAE-developed technology through partnerships with US silicon providers.
ZOOM OUT - In June 2026, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi was appointed chairman of AIREV, linking the Abu Dhabi agentic AI company to the country’s trade agenda as it pushes to export AI and software. AIREV was set up through the government’s NextGen FDI Initiative. It was founded in 2023, and its OnDemand platform now serves more than four million users. AIREV has also partnered with US chip firms Intel and Tenstorrent, and with distributor Redington, which supports its planned expansion into Europe.
