Dubai AI Seal launched to help accelerate growth of AI sector
New certification allows public & private sector to verify AI service providers
#UAE #trust - Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has introduced the Dubai AI Seal to certify trustworthy AI companies, supporting Dubai’s ambition to be a global leader in artificial intelligence. The new verification system aims to speed up the growth of Dubai’s Al industry, but providing a reliable way for private and public sector organisations to verify AI service providers and so make doing business with them quicker and easier. According to the DCAI, the seal seal will give AI companies a competitive advantage in government projects and showcase their credibility. The initiative, aligned with the Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI, is open to all Dubai-licensed technology firms offering AI services, evaluated across six criteria.
SO WHAT? - At a time when many commercial and government organisations are beginning to focus more on AI implementation, rather strategy and planning, identifying the right technology partners can prove to be difficult. Some well-established technology companies are still working on their AI proposition, while often those that seem to know what they are talking about are new companies with little track record. So, how does a customer decide what AI company to appoint to help them harness AI’s huge potential? The Dubai AI Seal aims to quickly build trust in locally developed AI solutions and services by creating a reliable network of AI firms. The new system could take some of the pain way from IT and procurement teams when trying to chose the right vendor.
