e& first to embed AI in core connectivity
e& Business Pro and mobile plans get Agentic AI bundles by default
#UAE #telecom - UAE telecom operator e& UAE has become the first telecom provider in the region to embed agentic AI directly into its core business mobile and fixed connectivity plans. The capability is built into Business Pro fixed internet and enterprise propositions including Digital Internet and Digital Premium Internet, complemented by Sovereign AI Compute giving businesses access to GPU capacity hosted in the UAE alongside secure connectivity.
SO WHAT? - Most businesses adopting AI have had to stitch together infrastructure, security, compute and connectivity from separate vendors before they can start. e& is folding agentic AI into the connectivity plans companies already buy, removing friction for customers. This could be particularly valuable for smaller businesses that don’t have the budget or technical staff to assemble an AI stack themselves.
KEY POINTS:
UAE telecom operator e& UAE has become the first telecom provider in the region to embed agentic AI directly into its core business mobile and fixed connectivity plans.
Agentic AI, described as systems that can understand objectives, organise information and carry out sequences of tasks under defined controls, is now included in e& UAE’s Business Pro fixed internet services and enterprise fixed-connectivity plans, with mobile customers able to add it to existing packages.
Launched a few weeks ago, Sovereign AI Compute combines UAE-based GPU capacity with secure, high-performance connectivity. The package supports the development, testing, training and deployment of AI applications while keeping sensitive data within national borders.
For small and medium-sized businesses, built-in agentic AI is intended to reduce the cost and complexity of adopting the technology, freeing employees from repetitive tasks to focus on customers and growth.
Larger enterprises and government entities can combine the AI capabilities with e& UAE’s enterprise fixed-connectivity products to support business-critical applications, distributed operations and data-intensive workloads.
The launch aims to address common barriers to AI adoption, including infrastructure constraints, security considerations and the need for specialist resources. e& UAE enables customers to start with built-in AI tools and scale into sovereign computing, security and cloud services as needs grow.
ZOOM OUT - The Sovereign AI Compute layer behind today's announcement was announced in July 2026, via a partnership between e& UAE and sovereign cloud specialist Core42. That deal combined Core42's Sovereign AI Cloud with e&'s national-scale connectivity, giving enterprises and government entities in-country GPU access without the capital cost or lead time of building their own infrastructure. Embedding agentic AI into core connectivity plans is the natural next step on from the partnership annonucement, taking sovereign compute from something enterprises had to actively request and folding it into the mobile and internet packages that they already use.
