#SaudiArabia #AIagents - Riyadh-based AI agents platform Cycls has launched four specialised agents for individuals and businesses in Saudi Arabia, enabled with in-country sovereign cloud infrastructure. Cycls says its sovereign platform ensures models and data stay inside Saudi Arabia, satisfying requirements for regulated industries. The startup has released an AI agent called Super for general tasks, Haseef for Saudi law, Badee for marketing and Namaa for the Saudi stock market. The agents all carry out multi-step tasks such as research, analysis and document creation.
SO WHAT? - Generic AI assistants often miss local detail, whether that’s Saudi statute, the Nomu parallel stock market or Arabic language marketing copy. Competing with global platforms, Cycls is betting that agents built around Saudi Arabia’s specific business, cultural and legal requirements will gain more market traction. Meanwhile, hosting models and data in the Kingdom answers a concern for legal and financial users in particular. The company is small, founded in 2021 and its AI agents platform now has more than 3,000 users.
KEY POINTS
Riyadh-based Cycls has launched a team of specialised AI agents to meet the specific needs of Saudi Arabian businesses. Users can assign multi-step tasks such as researching, browsing, analysing, organising information and preparing final outputs, rather than only asking questions.
The four new AI agents from Cycls are:
Super is a general-purpose agent, which handles research, browsing, analysis and file creation, plus reports, presentations and dashboards. The agent connects to supported systems and data sources and saves information in workspaces for reuse.
Haseef is an agent that specialises in Saudi law. It researches legislation, regulations, decisions and judicial precedents, reviews contracts and drafts agreements, policies and legal memoranda.
Badee works as a full-service marketing agency in one AI agent. It develops campaign concepts, writes content, creates and edits images with attention to the Arabic language and Saudi context. It also recommends influencers and prepares content for publication on supported channels.
Namaa focuses on the Saudi stock market, including the main market Tadawul and Nomu (the parallel market). The agent compares listed companies, analyses stock movements and technical indicators and tracks announcements.
Cycls has built sovereign cloud infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, giving users access to AI with models and data hosted inside the Kingdom.
Founders Mohammed Alrujayi and Mohammed Alogayyil, both engineers, started Cycls in 2021. The startup has delivered AI projects for government, private and non-profit clients. It is ISO 27001 and ISO 20000-1 certified and has more than 3,000 users and enterprises worldwide.
A Cycls mobile app on the App Store and Google Play lets users start tasks and check progress while agents work in the background.
ZOOM OUT - Saudi Arabia is now among the world’s heaviest users of AI agents. HP’s recent Work Relationship Index 2026, covering more than 19,000 desk-based workers in 15 countries, found that 60 percent of Saudi knowledge workers use AI agents, ahead of 57 percent in the UAE. The survey also found that some 41 percent of Saudi workers turn to AI first when they need help with a task, against 31 percent globally. Meanwhile, business leaders are positive about the effect on jobs, with 86 percent saying that AI adoption has created new roles or teams, and only 2 percent say it is mainly replacing or reducing roles.
