First commercial product from G42's Inception announced
New enterprise AI platform promises to cut procurement cycles by 40%
#UAE #products - G42 has announced an AI-powered procurement optimisation platform (In)Business Procurement, the first fully commercial product to be developed and launched by its subsidiary Inception. Formerly positioned as the group’s applied research arm and well known for the development of G42’s Jais large language models, Inception is evolving into a product-first organisation that builds AI-native products to solve real world challenges. As such, it played a key role in bringing world-class AI researchers to Abu Dhabi, from institutions such as Cambridge University, Oxford University, ETH, MIT, Stanford, UCLA and Tsinghua University. In 2023, G42 rebranded the organisation as simply ‘Inception’, but later that year decided to merge it with its cloud services company G42 Cloud and its 2020 IT integrator acquisition Injazat, to form Core42. In August last year, G42 relaunched Inception as a stand-alone company, repositioning it as a product-first developer in 2025.
