#UAE #results - Abu Dhabi-based Presight AI Holding Plc (ADX: PRESIGHT), has announced record financial results for Q1 2025, with revenue soaring 115.1% year-on-year to AED 563.9 million (c. $153.5) as the G42 subsidiary accelerates its transformation into a potential global AI leader. International revenue surged fivefold to AED 127.0 million (c. $34.6m), reflecting the company's expanding global footprint. The ADX-listed firm secured AED 1.44 billion (c. $390m) in new orders during the quarter, expanding its backlog to AED 3.87 billion (c. $1.05b), a 29% increase since December 2024. The AI and big data firm also maintained a robust cash position of AED 1.97 billion (c. $540m) with zero debt.
SO WHAT? - Presight’s scale and performance is reflective of the growing maturity of its product portfolio and high level of confidence in the company’s abilities from government stakeholders and customers. Meanwhile, with nearly a quarter of its revenue now generated outside the UAE, Presight is evolving from a national champion into a genuine global contender in enterprise AI and smart city solutions. G42 Group company Presight AI Holding Plc, which is listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange under ADX:PRESIGHT, has announced record financial results for Q1 2025, with revenue soaring 115.1% year-on-year to AED 563.9 million (c. $153.5).
Presight's EBITDA grew by 71.9% year-on-year to reach AED 141.0 million (c. $38.1m), while profit after tax rose by 33.6% on a like-for-like basis (25.1% including the UAE's new 15% corporate tax rate under Pillar 2 global minimum tax guidance), demonstrating the company's ability to maintain profitability while investing in rapid expansion.
The company continued to strengthen its domestic leadership position with significant new contracts secured with the UAE Accounting Authority for video analytics and access management solutions, and with the Emirates Nuclear Energy Company for sovereign agentic AI deployments.
Internationally, Presight signed a substantial $190 million, six-year agreement with the City of Astana to implement AI-powered smart city transformation in Kazakhstan, while a letter of engagement with Albania's Ministry of Interior will see the company deploy AI solutions across 20 major cities.
Presight's majority-owned subsidiary, AIQ, is continuing deployment of the three-year, $340 million ENERGYai platform across ADNOC's upstream operations—described as the world's first large-scale rollout of agentic AI in the energy sector, demonstrating the company's industry-specific expertise.
The company launched Presight Synergy, a next-generation enterprise AI platform that unifies data management, analytics, and governance into a single ecosystem, designed for rapid deployment and operational efficiency without disrupting existing infrastructure.
Another significant product launch was Presight LifeSaver, a comprehensive AI-driven emergency and crisis response platform already deployed in the UAE in partnership with the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) to help government agencies manage emergency situations more effectively.
Presight strengthened its innovation ecosystem through the launch of the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator in partnership with Microsoft and the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), offering mentoring support, access to G42's global network, compute credits, $50,000 cash support for UAE operations, and access to venture capital funding.
The company expanded its international technology partnerships with a Memorandum of Understanding signed with EDGE Group company Beacon Red to support smart city projects in Brazil and Latin America, while AIQ entered into new strategic agreements with SLB and Ecopetrol.
ZOOM OUT - Founded in 2020 by Abu Dhabi-based AI powerhouse G42, Presighthas rapidly established itself as a leading big data analytics company, with a particular focus on government and public sector clients. The company achieved impressive 2024 rsults, posting record revenue of AED 2,213 million ($603m), a 24.3% increase from the previous year. Presight has had increasing success in signing multi-year contracts with major government customers and significant international growth, with foreign markets contributing 23% of revenue.
