#UAE #telecom - Telecom operator e& UAE has launched Business Pro AI, bundling faster business fibre with Microsoft Copilot at no additional cost. The new package aims to helpi small and medium-sized enterprises adopt AI without separate software licences or multiple vendors. The plan combines connectivity, productivity tools and AI assistance under a single subscription and monthly bill. Microsoft’s recent AI Diffusion Report found that 70 percent of the UAE’s working-age population now uses generative AI, the highest rate in the world.
SO WHAT? - SMEs typically face two separate barriers to adopting AI: the cost of software licences and the hassle of managing multiple vendors and contracts. By folding Copilot into an existing connectivity bill rather than selling it as an add-on, e& is removing both at once. Smaller businesses often struggle with limited budgets and thin IT skills, which can be a barrier to adopting new technologies already being put in use by larger enterprises. So, this bundle seems to make business sense.
KEY POINTS:
Telecom operator e& UAE has launched Business Pro AI, bundling faster business fibre with Microsoft Copilot at no additional cost. The new bundle is aimed at helping small and medium-sized enterprises adopt AI without separate software licences or multiple vendors.
The new e& UAE bundle addresses the cost and implementation barriers many SMEs face when adopting advanced AI tools.
The plan is designed to let SMEs use generative AI to automate routine and time-consuming tasks. Making it easier to adopt Copilot could help more SMEs to free up time and resources and focus on growth and customer engagement.
Microsoft Copilot allows businesses to automate tasks, draft emails, analyse data and create content, aimed at boosting daily employee productivity without added software spend.
The launch builds on the UAE’s position as the world’s highest adopter of generative AI, with 70.1% of the country’s working-age population using the technology, according to Microsoft’s latest AI Diffusion Report.
The launch reinforces e& UAE’s existing strategic partnership with Microsoft and its broader positioning as an AI-enabled telecom provider, following its recent move to embed agentic AI directly into its core business connectivity plans.
Businesses can subscribe to Business Pro AI or arrange a consultation on using Microsoft Copilot through their e& UAE account manager or by calling e&.
ZOOM OUT - Last week e& UAE became the first telecom provider in the region to embed agentic AI into its core Business Pro and mobile plans by default, paired with Sovereign AI Compute giving businesses UAE-hosted GPU access alongside their connectivity. The same logic runs through both launches, removing barriers to AI adoption for SMEs. Agentic AI handled the automation and compute side; Copilot now adds the everyday productivity layer, drafting, summarising, analysing, on top of it. Together they point to the telecom operator’s strategy of turning connectivity into the on-ramp for AI adoption.
