The eight-week initiative launched by the DCAI in partnership with Dubai Future Foundation's Dubai Future Accelerators runs from 6 October to 28 November 2025, building on first-cycle success that attracted 615 AI companies from 55 countries and delivered 75 piloted use cases from 183 defined applications.

Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has opened applications for the second cycle of its Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator programme and the opportunity to collaborate with over 20 Dubai government entities.
The accelerator programme invites local and international technology innovators and AI companies to collaborate with Dubai government entities on innovative solutions that harness AI to enhance public services across the emirate.
The first cycle demonstrated global appeal with 615 AI companies from 55 countries participating, resulting in 183 defined AI use cases with 75 successfully piloted across government services.
The Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator will take place from from 6 October to 28 November 2025, with a deadline of 28 August for applications to join the programme.
The accelerator focuses on four key areas:
Refining existing services - Apply AI to enhance a current public-facing service in a Dubai government entity, ensuring optimal personalization.
Create new services - Use AI to develop innovative services at a Dubai government entity previously considered impossible.
Enhance operational efficiency - Integrate AI tools into government day-to-day operations to make them easier and more efficient.
Inclusive Accessibility - Develop AI solutions to eliminate accessibility barriers and foster inclusivity.
Participants retain full ownership of innovations with no equity stake required, whilst receiving fully sponsored accommodation and travel for eight weeks in Dubai, plus direct access to senior government decision-makers.
The accelerator positions Dubai among the world's top cities for agile, AI-powered public services defined by speed, quality, and efficiency.
The programme aligns with the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence.
ZOOM OUT - The Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator has demonstrated remarkable global appeal since launch, attracting 615 startups from 55 countries with 30 companies selected for the inaugural eight-week programme at AREA 2071. The inaugural accelerator had two tracks covering government services and media communications. The accelerator enabled startups to collaborate directly with Dubai government entities whilst developing innovative AI solutions for current and future challenges. The breadth and depth of government AI programmes launched over the past few years have bolstered Dubai’s position as a global hub for AI innovation.
